The pot is in a standard sizing so that the flower bases are interchangeable in all of the different pots. If you do not have a knitted pot base or would like to have multiple potted flowers out at once, I would recommend buying the Flowers with the pot. If you already have a knitted pot base and would like to change the flowers out seasonally, you can now buy just the flowers (without the pot). 

NOTE: in order for the flowers to work as intended, at least 1 of the knitted pots should be purchased.
